I can't stand bad tippers!

My biggest pet peeve is when they tell you they want an order "to go," and then decide they're going to "dine in." I'm not assuming that you aren't going to tip me but I know you aren't going to tip me. So after you've yelled back at me a couple of times obviously I'm just going to say, "Ok." What other sort of reaction did you expect? Something like this:

"I'm totally sorry sir. I didn't mean to assume that you wouldn't give me tips. It's just normal for people to pay after they're done with their meal."

Even the costumers at Table Three yesterday who didn't know what wonton soup was gave me a three dollar tip. How could you just not know the rules? Btw the people at Table Three where very young. Around 17-18. Even they knew how to tip compared to those two male adults.

So I've told them,

"This is a restaurant, not a fast food place. Next time you guys come and eat, I suggest you pay after and not before. I know you don't want to give me tips but that isn't very nice." In which that idiot responded,

"How do you know that I'm not going to give you tips? I'll give you however much you want. Don't assume that I won't give you tips." And then I say,

"Yes but yesterday a lot of costumers had done exactly what you guys did." Oh trust me, and they created a big mess at the table too!

"But you just can't assume I'm one of those people." All of a sudden he's like, "I don't understand what you're saying. Are you stupid or something?" So I'm like,

"Did you just call me stupid?" So he told me back,

"No I said you're assuming," and he seemed angry. So then I sat down with my Uncle and began talking to him. The costumers left in a rage. They probably won't be coming back.

Good ridance? My mom used to ask people for tips. I'd get embarassed. Now that I'm in the restaurant working too, I know it's ok to ask.

Even if you say:

"So aren't you going to give me tips?" You know how they respond?!

"You charge me tax, I don't give you tips." LIKE FUCK YOU!!!!!! I'm a teenage girl with a lot of anger. Deep inside it's perfectly normal for me to get angry. Well, most costumers think I'm 12. D=<

I feel like making a tip chart and put it in the restaurant.

Besides all that, it's just so maddening wouldn't you say?!

But I've got a question for you other people in thiis field:

How would you have handled the situation?

Went to the Summer Festival in Toronto held by the Japanese Canadian Cultural Center.

Then headed over to the night festival ... - in which SwtGreenTea and I waited at least an hour and half for Takoyaki and Taiyaki! It was MADNESS!

Tuesday, July 14, 2009:

I'm currently re-reading Cat Street because it gives me inspiration. I don't care what other people's opinion of the manga is. But right now I feel like a stray cat myself.

Class is almost over and I skipped the last hour (which probably dissapointed my Psychology teacher.)

I suppose there's not much to say today, but an update here and there is good.

Oh right, so Rossetti's given me Raymond Lam's third album. The title is called, "Let's Get Wet," and I'm sorry to say this: but it wasn't very good. I mean, the packaging was awesome but that's all I truly liked about it. I wouldn't go back and listen to the other songs on his album, except the three that I truly enjoyed. But I still find myself a big fan of him, despite what other people say. I'm just really stubborn and I'll never hide my interests.

So I've been around on everyone's livejournal and it's really weird seeing people call eachother by their online names? I guess I'm more of a facebook person...

Lately I've been totally obsessed with a facebook game called restaurant city. I've been trying to get everyone I know to play.

I'm pretty sure you can just get information online that tells you what the game is about. I'm too lazy to make my own summary!

But anyway, here's my restaurant city game:

I've named my restaurant after a member from Big Bang (a Korean boy band). I also need apples, but ran out of room to type "Need Apples," and since I wanted to keep T.O.P.'s name there I just wrote apples next to it! Not confusing anyone so far am I? lol...I've had to cover my friend's face with black paint >=] since I'm putting this up on livejournal.

You need toilets once you get passed level 8. Mine are all dirty. I don't know why they keep making you clean them so many times >=/! It's every five seconds (almost) that you have to keep them clean and they don't even give you that many employees!

Oh yes, I'm level 18 and I've got 6 toilets in my restaurant, eight employees, and just about splurged all my coins on decorations. As you can see, I'm rather poor with only 13614 coins available to spend. My popularity level is 48.2% in that picture but the highest maximum % you can reach is 50. The highest level you can reach is 27. You level up by receiving gourmet points from your costumers.

Technically, this is what I do when I'm not on MSN or livejournal etc, etc. I play restaurant city, even though I already have my own restaurant! >=]

Forgot to mention that you can hire your own friend's on facebook to clean your dirty toilets, hahaha!

You also have to feed them depending on the % of strength they have left. I'm ok since this employee has 97.5% strength, but once it gets lower (around 70%) you'll have to feed them water, apple, banana, or the very expensive sandwich for 200 coins >=P Never have your employee's strength drop too low or they'd become less efficient and work much slower.

A friend of mine, that Swtgreentea and I know...called T.O.P an ugly gay man! *rants* OMG!!! *screams* I've got to play an evil prank on her now...HOW DARE SHE?! LMAO! MUAHAHAHAHAHA! >=P!

Anime North Photos <3 Finally!

I can't stop laughing at how quick I've become attached to LiveJournal. But anyways here's another entry based on photos I want to show off from Anime North 2009 and another one from AN07 (I think that's the year) of me cosplaying as Reira <3!

That was just a random Shin at the Nana photoshoot. Even the other Nana Cosplayers didn't know who I was T_T! At least some noticed and said I should take a picture with Shin, since they where together in the manga (during that time anyway) and now she's all about destroying Hachi's happy married life with Takumi...D=< This outfit was also from Nana 1 the movie and cost me just as much as a Lolita outfit does! I was quite obsessed with Nana back then but I think my obsession has calmed down a bit ...

This is one of my favourite pictures from Anime North. It's too bad that my ribbon kept falling off of my head Dx! Anyways there's another photo I want to show everyone too but some odd reason it NEVER shows! T_T~

Haha!~ Finally got it working. I also like this one a lot and would put it on facebook if Linda hadn't requested that I keep a little secret for her >_~! It's the only one I randomly found on the internet and someone had given us the nickname "Blue Lollies" XD! I find the blue outfits EXTREMELY adorable! It's 100% the best one I wore at Anime North. It was totally gorgeous! If I remember correctly, Linda didn't mean to buy both of them? Hahaha, I want to ask if I could buy the blue skirt from her >=] I fell in love with it by accident D=<!

Lastly this is a photo I took with Sam and the maid for Table 6 at the Anime North CafeDelish. I went with him to the Cafe but it was sort of boring when they started to talk about WOW (the people at our table) and I was trying not to show it but he had noticed anyway. It's a pity we only see eachother once a year ... but we have tried to meet up before and it was either I couldn't make it or he couldn't make it to Wonderland or where ever people decided to meet up. It was awesome when he got mad at those people selling the buttons and when I had said, "I'm like the fourth person down on the first page," when the lady tried to make it sound like, other's have been waiting for seven hours etc...what a lie! She was like asking where my name was on the list, lol. AT LEAST DO IT PROPERLY IF YOU'RE GONNA LIE! XD! But I would've just kept waiting if Sam wasn't there to get angry and shout at them, hahaha! For some reason I keep thinking Sam is a totally cool adult!

Oh right, so I guess that's it for today. but I'm going to try and not be on LiveJournal all the time now DX It feels like I'm not but the more I think of it, I am!

Dream - Yuna Ito

The Ninth track sounds like it would've been perfect for Nana 2 the movie instead of Take Me Away. It's also my favourite from the album! Yuna's also quite popular in Hong Kong and in the last week or so she was doing promotions there for Dream. It's great to see her communicating in English with people from TVB. But was she nervous or something? I don't think her English was quite as good as when she sings!

I guess this whole "LJ" thing started because of the Lolita Tea Party at Anime North.

It just wouldn't do that I'm the only one without a LiveJournal!

Where did I think of such a "weird" user name, you might ask? I'm pretty sure you've heard of the J-pop artist Otsuka Ai, and if you haven't, then you should check out her song Katamoi Dial on youtube. I'm a big fan of the bunny, LoveChan, but the name had already been taken so I added "707" the number taken from my favourite manga Nana!

Well, I'll have to start learning how to do all that fancy HTML stuff I used to know from my other blog ... but since I haven't used that for three-four years I don't even remember the basics anymore! It has definately been a while since I last used HTML...

Anyway, Anime North had been fun and eventful as the others I've been too. It was great bumping into everyone I knew and taking random pictures with them, even if they hadn't been in cosplay. Not to mention this was also the year I had won so many prizes!

It's most unfortunate that there was a lot of drama which happened days before the Anime North weekend. I'm unsure as to how I should put my finger around it. I've tried a couple of metaphors at explaining what happened but people always had a confused look on their faces.

On a happier note:

My head's pretty clear and light from the rainbow I saw today <3 it was so cute! I couldn't stop screaming and shouting at how pretty it was! IT WAS SO HUGE! I even walked in the rain to take pictures of it, but that isn't on this computer, it's on my laptop so I'll put them up soon.
